Senior R&D Executive

Job Location – Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

Job Type – On-Site, Full TIME.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, or Dairy Science.
• Minimum 5-7 years of industry experience.
• Hands-on experience with food mix development and its application.
• Excellent customer handling skills, problem-solving approach and solution focussed.
• Strong understanding of food regulations, requirements and its importance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects.

Role Scope:

The Position involves the development, application and creation of innovative solutions for:

• Powdered blends of Beverages: Dairy, Non-Dairy and others.
• Powdered blends of Ice cream, soft serves, desserts, and other dairy products.
• Planning applications and customer visits.
• Demonstration of the products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with key customers to understand their needs and contribute to the development of their pipeline for new products.
• Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure alignment and adjust project directions as necessary.
• Lead the creation and development of new products in alignment with approved project briefs.
• Collaborate with suppliers, marketing, and internal teams to expedite product development in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide technical support and expertise for product applications to both internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Oversee the commercialization of developed products and scale up the formulations at plant level.
• Benchmarking of customer products, competition products, and processes.
• Manage Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure all necessary supporting documentation is complete for Operations and Quality Assurance teams.
• Ensure that all developed and existing products comply with current food safety regulations and labeling standards.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to product development, specifications, and compliance measures.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in product formulations and processes based on customer feedback and market trends.
